One question at a time. Takes about a minute.

Your name is enough — no company needed.

Rooms, rough size, what is there now, when you want it done — whatever you know. We read this and ask about anything missing.

Up to 4 photos, or one short walkthrough video (under 20 MB) — shoot it right here. A quote written from photos is a number; one written without them is a guess, and the guess is what gets revised on installation day.

We call or text — whichever you prefer.

No cost, no obligation. We never sell your information.

How it works

No showroom queue, no sales pressure, no phone tree.

Tell us about the project

Room, rough square footage, what you are picturing. A guess on the measurements is fine — we sort that out later.

What we do with what you write

Your description does not go on a call list. It gets read, the gaps get filled in by asking you, and it comes out as a written scope the company quoting you can price from. Here is the whole thing, with a real example.

  1. You write

“Two-bedroom unit in Waikiki, 12th floor. Carpet in both bedrooms plus the hallway, want vinyl plank. Maybe 800 sqft. Building manager mentioned something about a sound rating.”

  2. We ask back
    • Has the AOAO approved vinyl plank, and given a required IIC rating?
    • Should the old carpet and padding be hauled away?
    • Is there elevator access for material and debris?

Three questions, picked for this job. A 12th-floor condo gets asked about the elevator; a ground-floor kitchen never does.

  3. The company gets this
    SCOPE
    - Remove and haul away existing carpet and padding in
      both bedrooms and hallway
    - Install vinyl plank flooring in both bedrooms and hallway

    MEASUREMENTS
    - Approx. 800 sqft (stated as "maybe")

    SITE
    - 12th floor unit, Waikiki
    - Passenger elevator only, no freight elevator
    - AOAO has not yet approved vinyl plank; building manager
      cited IIC 50 minimum requirement

    TO CONFIRM ON SITE
    - AOAO approval status for vinyl plank
    - Underlayment IIC rating meets or exceeds 50
    - Exact square footage (given as approximate)
    - Subfloor condition and flatness under existing carpet

Note what it does not do: it does not turn your “maybe 800” into 800, and it does not promote what the manager said into an AOAO ruling. Anything unconfirmed is listed as unconfirmed — that is the difference between a number that holds and one that gets revised on installation day.

Example taken from a real request. Details changed, structure untouched.

Why buy local for a Hawaii home

  • Material that suits the climateHumidity, salt air and slab moisture wreck the wrong flooring. What works in Phoenix does not work in Ewa Beach.
  • Samples you can actually handleColor on a screen is not color in your kitchen at 4pm. Two showrooms on Oahu, open six days a week.
  • One point of contactSame person for the quote, the order and the follow-up. You are not starting over every time you call.
  • Condo-ready paperworkMost Oahu buildings require board approval for hard-surface flooring. We put the specs in a form they will accept.

Beyond materials

Need it installed too?

The supply side and the build side are handled by different people, and it is worth knowing which is which before you commit to anything.

Handled in house

  • Design & drawingsMeasured layouts worked up before anything is ordered. For cabinets there is a 3D preview too, so you see the finished room rather than a spec sheet.
  • FabricationCountertops cut to your template — sink and cooktop cutouts, edge profile, the lot.
  • Material supplyVinyl plank, quartz, cabinets and vanities, viewable at either Honolulu showroom.

Through licensed partners

  • InstallationFlooring, countertops and cabinets fitted by licensed local contractors who install this material every week.
  • ElectricalNew circuits, lighting and appliance runs as part of a remodel, by licensed trades.
  • Full kitchen & bath remodelsTear-out to finish on one schedule — the Ohana Package, run with CV Construction Hawaii.

You are never obliged to take the install. Plenty of people buy the material and bring their own crew. If you do want it handled, we will connect you with licensed contractors and you can ask them for licence and insurance details before anything is signed.

Common questions

How much does a quote cost?
Nothing. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to buy. If the number does not work for you, that is a perfectly fine outcome.
How fast will I hear back?
Within 24 hours on weekdays. If you send square footage and a photo of the space, it is usually faster than that.
Do you serve all of Oahu?
Yes — Honolulu, Kailua, Kaneohe, Aiea, Pearl City, Waipahu, Mililani, Kapolei, Ewa Beach, Hawaii Kai, Waianae and the North Shore. Both showrooms are in Honolulu.
Can I see samples before I decide?
Yes. Two Honolulu showrooms have material on display, Monday through Saturday, 8am to 5pm. Handling a sample in person is the single best way to avoid regretting a color.
What is the discount code for?
It tells the supplier your enquiry came from this site, which is how we get paid — at no cost to you. Pricing is quoted per job rather than off a fixed list, so mention the code and ask what they can do on your numbers.
I live in a condo. Is that a problem?
Not at all, but most Oahu buildings have house rules your AOAO has to approve before you put in hard-surface flooring. Tell us it is a condo and we will write the material specs in a format your board can sign off on. Here is what boards usually ask for.
